At
Stars Over Texas Softball, we know how important it is
important for young women to get a quality education. This is why we will be awarding four (4) scholarships for the
2009-2010 season. It's our way of recognizing their hard work
and commitment to their academic and athletic endeavors.

ELIGIBILITY
All applicants must play in either the
Stars Over Texas Summer or Summer Showcase.
Applicants for
the Summer Showcase
must be a 2009 or 2010 graduate.
Applicants for the fall showcase must be a 2010 graduate. The
applicant’s name will be verified by the roster
that the coach/manager submits to Stars Over
Texas Softball, for the showcase that you are
applying for. All applicants must fill out the
online application and submit it at least 3 days
before the first day of the showcase. In
addition, entrants’ GPA must be at least 3.0 on
a 4.0 scale. |

JUDGING AND
FINAL DECISIONS
Decisions will be based upon academics,
extracurricular activities, community service,
and overall character of applicants and
responses to short answer questions.
Finalists may
be asked to provide a copy of their high school
transcript to verify their grades.
Scholarship
recipients will be announced the first week of
August for the Summer Showcase and the first
week of December for the Fall Showcase. All
decisions are final. |
